Back / Sirena & Octavius: A Love Story

View Gallery

Background

Capturing an intimate exchange on the ocean floor, this piece explores the whimsical side of aquatic mythology. The mermaid rests low to the ground, her gaze fixed with deep intent on Octavius, a small octopus tucked inside a seashell. The dramatic, sweeping curve of her tail balances the soft focus of her facial expression, creating a dynamic composition that pulls the viewer directly into their quiet world. Through rich blue-green patinas and sweeping, fluid forms, the sculpture invites us to imagine the gentle dialogue and quiet affection shared in the ocean's depths.
