Acadia Mezzofanti Explores Women In Art & Culture

Acadia Mezzofanti is a Boston-area emerging female photographic artist. On an artistic-creative grant from Bowdoin College, Acadia is conducting a summer project as she examines, through her lens, artistic identity, as well as expanding boundaries for the underrepresented, while highlighting, among other groups, women in arts and culture. Influential cultural leaders, patrons of arts and culture, many visual and performing artists, plus leading Boston-area cultural organizations and art institutions share their views and contribute their opinions to the project. As a conclusion, Acadia will publicly release, via Issuu, a two-volume digital book, the synthesis of her summerlong explorations.
